Car Key Programming
at Your Car, Same Day
Already have a key blank or an aftermarket fob? We programme it to your car on the spot. We also pair genuine OEM keys, programme proximity smart keys for push-to-start cars, and run online component protection authorisations for BMW, VW, Audi and Mercedes. All mobile, all at your location.
What We Programme
Six core programming services, all done at your car, all same day.
Transponder chip programming
The most common form. We write the immobiliser code into the chip inside your key so the car will start. Applies to virtually every car made after 1998 with a plastic-head key.
Remote / fob programming
Pairing the buttons (lock, unlock, boot) to the car. Different from the transponder — the immobiliser and the remote are two separate systems that both need to be synced.
Proximity / smart key programming
For push-to-start cars. The key is identified by radio when it's near the car, and the engine starts with a button. Modern cars with this system (BMW, VW, Mercedes, Audi) need online component protection authorisation.
Component protection authorisation
For German cars especially — VW, Audi, BMW, Mercedes. The new key has to be authorised online against the manufacturer's server before the car will accept it. We carry the access needed to do this at your car.
Key deletion
Removing a lost or stolen key from the car's memory. The key's transponder code is wiped from the immobiliser, so the lost key can no longer start the engine even if someone finds it.
Key cloning
For some older cars, we can clone the existing key's transponder so the new key works without needing a direct connection to the car. Useful as a backup, but the cloned key can never be deleted from the car.
